For the information of credit card defaulters, the Supreme Court has established small claims courts under A.M.08-8-7-SC which will try :

1. Cases P100,000.00 and below
2. Takes only one (1) day
3. Mediation fee - P500.00
4. NO LAWYERS ALLOWED

The purpose is to declog court cases.

I (si banker) would encourage you to bring your issues to the court where it is :

1. formal
2. legal
3. fair
4. better treatment ( no harassments)
5. pay what you truly can afford.

These are the following issues covered normally:

1. Is it true that you have an utang? Yes
2. Is the obligation fair? No
3. Can you afford to pay? No

So? Case dismissed.
